Pediatric dentistry FAQs
When should the first visit be?
It's recommended when the first tooth comes in or before the first birthday.
Why treat baby teeth if they'll fall out?
They're needed for chewing, speaking and holding space for permanent teeth. An untreated cavity can cause pain and infection.
What should I do if my child knocks a tooth?
Call us as soon as possible. If there was a hard blow to the head or bleeding that won't stop, go to an emergency room first.
What does a pediatric dentist do?
Looks after the dental health of babies, children and teens: prevention, cavity treatment and monitoring development, with an approach adapted to each age.
Can I stay with my child during the visit?
Yes. Parents stay with their children and take part when we explain the plan.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the treatment. We explain the cost after the checkup.
