Full-mouth restoration in Matamoros, Mexico
When several teeth are worn, broken, missing or have old restorations, you may need a complete plan that restores function, bite and appearance together. It is led by a restorative dentist and can combine several treatments.

When it may be an option
- Significant tooth wear from clenching, grinding or erosion.
- Several missing teeth or restorations that have failed.
- Trouble chewing or discomfort when biting.
- Changes in how your smile looks because teeth have lost height.
What the plan can include
Crowns and bridges
To rebuild weakened teeth or replace missing ones using neighboring teeth for support.
Implants
To replace missing teeth with restorations supported by implants.
Dentures
Fixed or removable, when several or all teeth in an arch are missing.
Foundation treatments
Gum care, root canals or extractions that must be done before final restorations.
How the process works
A full-mouth restoration usually takes several visits over months. If you're coming from the U.S., we group stages to reduce your trips when the case allows.
- 1
Comprehensive evaluation
Clinical exam, X-rays, photos and records of your bite.
- 2
Diagnosis and staged plan
Health first, then function and appearance. We explain each stage.
- 3
Design and temporaries
When the case allows, temporary restorations are used to test shape and bite before the final ones.
- 4
Foundation treatments
Gum, root canal or non-restorable tooth problems are addressed.
- 5
Final restorations
Designed and made with HG Dental Lab, then fitted at the clinic.
- 6
Maintenance
Regular checkups and, if you clench, a night guard to protect your work.
Possible benefits
- Chewing comfortably again.
- A more stable, balanced bite.
- A consistent look across your whole smile, not tooth by tooth.
- An organized plan instead of fixing problems one at a time.
Limitations and considerations
- It takes more visits and time than a single treatment.
- Some steps, such as preparing teeth for crowns, can't be undone.
- The outcome also depends on your habits, hygiene and checkups.
- Restorations may need repair or replacement over the years.

Full-mouth restoration FAQs
Can everything be done in one visit?
No. A full-mouth restoration is done in stages: teeth and gums need to be healthy first, and healing time is needed when required.
Can I do the treatment in parts?
Often, yes. The plan can be split by priority. We'll discuss it at your evaluation.
How is it scheduled if I'm coming from Texas?
After your evaluation we give you an estimated schedule with the stages and approximate number of visits.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the treatments your case needs. We explain the cost of each stage after your evaluation.
