Crowns, bridges and dentures in Matamoros, Mexico
These restorations rebuild or replace teeth. A crown covers a weakened tooth; a bridge replaces teeth using the neighboring teeth for support; a denture replaces several or all teeth. We design and make them with our own lab, HG Dental Lab.

When they may be an option
- A broken tooth or a tooth with a very large filling.
- A root-canal-treated tooth that needs protection.
- One or more missing teeth.
- A current denture that is loose, worn or sore.
Treatment options
Crowns
Cover the whole tooth. The material is chosen based on the area of the mouth and your bite.
Fixed bridges
Replace one or more teeth using the neighboring teeth for support.
Partial dentures
Removable, to replace several teeth when you still have others.
Complete dentures
Replace all the teeth in an arch.
How the process works
The number of visits depends on the type of restoration. We give you an estimated schedule after your evaluation.
- 1
Evaluation
Exam of the tooth or area, with X-rays when needed.
- 2
Preparation
The tooth is prepared for the crown or bridge, or records are taken for the denture.
- 3
Records
A scan or impressions, depending on the case, sent to the lab.
- 4
Fabrication
HG Dental Lab makes the restoration to measure.
- 5
Try-in and adjustment
Fit, bite and appearance are checked before it's finalized.
- 6
Follow-up
Checkups to care for the restoration and the surrounding tissue.
Possible benefits
- Protects weakened teeth that could break.
- Restores chewing and appearance.
- Restorations made to measure by our own lab.
Limitations and considerations
- A crown or bridge requires reshaping the tooth, and that change can't be undone.
- A bridge depends on healthy neighboring teeth.
- Removable dentures need an adjustment period and periodic relines or adjustments.
- Over time, any restoration may need repair or replacement.

It depends on the restoration. We give you an estimated schedule after your evaluation.
How long do they last?
They can last many years with good hygiene and checkups, but it depends on your bite, habits and the material. An exact lifespan can't be guaranteed.
